Condolence: Absolutely agree: "Just recently, the business was recognized by Consumer Reports as the best place to buy appliances in the nation." NOT A SURPRISE. Bought my first Apt appliance on Milwaukee Avenue; was very excited that they moved to Niles and even happier when they moved to my town Morton Grove. Once our Wards fridge was 'acting' up. I saw Bob and told him "at weak moment I bought a fridge at Wards and now needed a new one". Bob walked me over to service, made an appointment for me and in 24 hours the Abt serviceman fixed my Wards fridge saving me several hundred. Needless to say that when it finally died I drove to Glenview Abt and bought a new one. He was a very good man. Sorry to see him go. My regards to his sister Diane and sons.
