Obituary for Jacob Daniel "Jake" Ottenstein

Jacob Daniel Ottenstein, 28, died peacefully in his Northbrook home on April 23rd; Jake enjoyed music, movies, reading, and, most of all, spending time with family and his dog and inseparable friend, Mack. He proudly excelled in the family business. He graduated from Glenbrook North High School, where he participated in hockey and jazz band. He went to the University of Colorado. He is survived by his parents Judy, nee Pawlow and Larry; older brother Zack; aunts Roberta Rosenthal, nee Pawlow and Rosemary Ottenstein; many cousins; and friends who he loved and cherished. Service Tuesday, 12:00 Noon at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd, Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to ASPCA, in his name.
