Irving Kolko, age 83, of Chicago, former President of Speedway Wrecking Co., which was founded by his father in 1928; beloved life companion of Diane Barker; devoted son of the late Esther and Jacob; cherished brother of Marshall (Helen) and the late Larry (June); he is also survived by Diane’s sisters Linda Kinney and Sharon Long; adored uncle of Bob (Harrian), Steve (Betty) and Dan Kolko, David Bloom, Debbie (Michael) Ward, Cooper (Shannon) and Taylor Kinney, Toby (Elizabeth) and Ted (Christina) Long; special great uncle of Rachel (Evan), Jaclyn (Eric), Sami, Jeremy (fiancée Samantha), Ryan, Stephanie, Lauren (T.J.), Jessica (Ryan), Josh and Collins; proud great great uncle of Nathan, Connor and Devin. Service Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery Chapel, 7801 W. Montrose Ave., Norridge. Interment to immediately follow.
