Jordan Earl Stein, age 81, former owner of S. Stein & Company, Jordan succeeded his father, and built the business into a thriving new and used furniture company. He was the beloved husband and best friend for 55 years of Beverly, nee Gershberg; loving father and mentor of Renee (Sam) Lallas, Brenda (Jeff) Sernick and Sidney Stein; adored Papa of Rachel (Darren), Samantha, Ascher, Chelsie, Colin, Jeremy and Ori; devoted son of the late Lillian and Sidney; brother of Lloyd (Sharon) and David; brother-in-law of Debbie Winton; dear uncle and treasured friend to many. Service Monday, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
