Obituary for Soloman E. "Fred" Spector

Soloman E. "Fred"  Spector
Solomon E. (Fred) Spector, aged 92, passed away quietly at home on June 3rd, 2017. He is survived by Estelle, his wife of 66 years and his children; Lea, Mia (Terry), J.B. (Martha), Julie, and Ari (Jeanne), his grandchildren Matt (Eve) Temkin, Dan (Kari) Temkin, Erinn Cohen, Ross Cohen, Caitlynn Spector, Adam Spector and his great grandson Charlie Temkin. He is also survived by his brother David (Carol). Fred bravely and honorably served his country during WWII as a bombardier/navigator. He was a violinist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for 48 years. The service will be held Tuesday, June 6th at 11:30 AM at: Goldman Funeral Group Skokie Chapel 8851 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie Burial to follow at: Memorial Park Cemetery 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie The family will sit shiva at the Spector home Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
