Condolence: I am so sorry that my remarks are so late in coming. I was totally unaware of Sherwin's passing. I worked for him at Cherry's Shoes in Schaumburg in the1970s. Sherwin was a wonderful boss who made his team feel like a family. I believe it was the strength of his faith, his love for his family, his good heart, his honesty, his integrity, and his genuine caring for humankind that paved the way to his success not only as a business person, but especially as a devoted husband, father, congregation member, and community member, and friend. His lessons on life, many of which were taught by example, have made me a better man, and I am so grateful to have known him
