Ann Rose Crost (nee Lev), beloved wife of the late Hillard; devoted mother of Carol (Ronald) Roos and Laurie (Howard) Jacob; proud grandmother of Marcy (Bryan) Pawlak, Jeffrey Roos, Bradley Jacob, Andrea (Michael) Brandess, and Joshua (Shoshana) Jacob; joyful great grandmother of Lola Pawlak, Meital Jacob, Harper Pawlak, Avi Jacob, and Quinn, Sloane and Miles Brandess; beloved daughter of the late Sylvia and the late Sam Lev; fond sister of the late Morris (Helen) Lev, the late Joseph (late Sophie) Lev, the late Bernice (the late Harry) Stebelman, the late Charlotte (the late Al) Landy, and the late Florence (the late Sid) Hechtman; dear sister-in-law to the late Mary (the late Marty) Greenwald and the late Bess (the late Victor) Lorant; caring aunt and great aunt to many, especially Edie (Barry) Jerome and Barbara (Jim) Major. In addition to her family, Ann was loved and admired by all who knew her through her two careers at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and the Illinois State Scholarship Commission. She was an avid and highly regarded competitive Mahjong player, through which she made many friends over the years. She will be terribly missed by all who knew her, including her longtime caregiver Fe Catellano, to whom the family is sincerely grateful. Service Friday, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bright Pink, www.brightpink.org or the charity of your choice.
