Condolence From: Amanda Madlonito
Condolence: I first met Kasey in Cellar 360 in San Francisco. She had hired me as a temp dishwasher. I was going through hard times then and after hearing what I went through she gave a chance and eventually hired me full time which gave m the chance to get back on my feet. She saw what a hard worker I was that she had taught me cooking skills and promoted me as prep cook and gave me knowledge and believed in me so much that I will never forget what impact she had made in my life and I will be forever grateful for being blessed enough to have known her. I’m sorry for your loss and I grieve sadly for my mentor and friend. She played a very big part in my life. She gave me courage, strength and knowledge to turn my life around and to make it better. I can say that I am now a confident happy person because of Kasey and her big kind heart.

Condolence: I had the great opportunity to meet Kasey on Sunday at Soho House. I just moved to Chicago and was eager to meet new friends, one of whom invited me to the pool party. I am glad I went. While there, I got me meet Kasey. She was such a kind and generous person; even invited me to shabbat (I am not Jewish) this Friday. We talked openly for a while in the warm end of summer sun and even took some fun photos. I may have been one of the last people to take a photograph with her on Sunday, she looked happy. I do not think I met her by chance and will forever hold this a special moment in my life.

I am not sure what to say, but in our brief moment together, I can imagine it must be difficult to lose her and her glow--she had a major impact on me. She was very special. I am very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Kasey. This is never easy to face, in fact death can be viewed as an enemy. That's how our Creator Jehovah views it as according to 1 Cor. 15:26; which says, "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." May you find comfort in knowing this and that he has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. Please visit jw.org for more comforting information.
