Ronald Butler, age 79, of Riverwoods, graduate of Northwestern Law School in 1961, former Assistant States Attorney of Cook County and Chief of Civil Appeals, successfully argued before the U.S. Supreme Court, Partner with Winston & Strawn 1969-1980, Founding Partner of Butler Rubin in 1980 until his retirement in 2003 and retired Associate Professor of Law at Chicago-Kent Law School; beloved husband for 57 years of Lynne, nee Dobrin; loving father of Susan (Kevin Johnson) Butler-Johnson, Keith (Sarah) Butler and Rick (Holly) Butler; adored Papa of Kyle, Joshua, Jessica, Emma, Will, Jayne, Jillian and Georgia; dear brother-in-law of Ilana Dobrin; treasured uncle of Dena (Adam) Cohen.
