Condolence: I was walking with my dear friend Ruth and her dog Max the first time I met Scott. He was driving by and stopped to greet us. When he opened his door, Max lept into his lap and smothered him with kisses. I don’t know who was happier to see who! Unfortunately, our time with Scott was short, as we moved here just a year and half ago. My husband so enjoyed “airplane speak” with Scott. We were planning on making many more memories. Condolence: Uncle Scott, I will always remember when you and Aunt Liz took us on a trip to the petting farm when Joseph was just 1 year old. It was the first time he had been so close to so many different animals. Another fond memory is when you both visited us with your close friends in September 2009 for my brothers wedding. Condolence: My condolences to Elizabeth and family. I used to enjoy (when he lived in Michigan) when he would just stop by and chat. My son was trick or treating a few years ago in Scott's neighborhood. He came home with the normal candy and the "most awesome treat ever". A small pocket radio with earbuds. The "awesome treat" came from Scott and Elizabeth's house. Later during one of our chats. I remember him saying he liked to give out different stuff kids would appreciate during Halloween. God speed. Condolence: Very sorry to hear about the loss of Scott! I have known Scott for at least 25 years as former co-workers from both Midway Airlines, and Delta Air Lines. I flew with Scott on the A330 from time to time, and he was always a joy to fly with. He was a good friend, co-worker, and I will miss seeing him from time to time at Detroit. May he rest in peace!

Condolence: Our hearts are broken, Scott was a one-of-a-kind loyal friend from the 70's, heart of gold, master of everything and meeting Elizabeth was just a perfect match.we are so grateful for all the wonderful moments we got to share, from him flying us in his private plane (80's), to boating in Lake Michigan (90's), to our adventure of our life time to London. His kindness & knowledge enriched so many lives beyond measure. As a Chicago Fire/paramedic, his rescue of a little boy- cold water drowning- from Lake Michigan was legendary! Condolence: Flew with Scott numerous times over the years beginning after the FFDO program started. His previous work experiences brought an interesting perspective to that assignment. He was a genuine pleasure to work with. His competence, camaraderie, and humor will be missed.
