Charles L. “Chuck” Karp, a youthful 95, of Northbrook, formerly of Glenview, beloved husband for 72 years of Shari, nee Brown; loving father of Bruce (Veronica) Karp, Janis (Neal) Strom, and Susie Karp Kravitz; adored Papa Chuck of Lindsey and Erin Strom, Ricky (Daniella) Strom, Adam (Rachel) Kravitz, Benjamin and Zander Karp; proud great grandfather of Aubrey and Bryce; devoted son of the late Louis and the late Liza Karp; cherished brother of the late Anne (late Philip) Fields, late Faye (late Milton) Liss, late Rae (late Seymour) Schlegman, and late David “Sonny” (late Doris) Karp; treasured uncle and friend to many. Chuck was known for his flowing locks, impeccable style, great smile, and his larger-than-life personality. The graveside service and shiva is private.
