Diane Paulette Brandwein, nee Elkin, age 80, of Northbrook, beloved wife for 60 wonderful years of Richard Brandwein; loving mother of Barry Brandwein, Sheri (Andrew) Levin, and Michael (Lisa) Brandwein; proud Grandma of Zoe, Gabrielle, and Everett Levin, Ethan, Lila, and Emma Brandwein; devoted daughter of the late Philip and the late Zelda Elkin; cherished sister of the late Stanley (Joan) Elkin; dear sister-in-law of the late Mitchell (late Barbara) Brandwein; treasured aunt and friend to many. She was fabulous! Diane was an avid theatergoer and traveler, loved to play tennis and golf, and enjoyed walking the Botanic Gardens and along the lakefront. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Service Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. CT at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Interment Memorial Park.
