Elaine was a pleasure to have in ICL study groups. I know she enjoyed the challenge of learning Mah Jongg and contributing to discussions in Current Events.
Elaine will be missed. Sincere sympathy to the family.

When I think of Elaine I get a big smile on my face - she loved being with people and had so many friends. Elaine took such a genuine interest in what everyone was up to. I so enjoyed watching her total joy as she spent time with her loves - her grandchildren, Kelly & Larry. Elaine was at every birthday, every holiday, every celebration big and small including day to day activities & adventures with Kelly and Larry over the years. Will miss speaking with Elaine about politics over a glass of wine. Julie & Jeff, your mom was quite a woman - full of life with many interests; so glad she's with your father & GiGi now. Kelly & Larry - know that Nini loved you to infinity & beyond and she's watching over you every day. Elaine enjoyed a life well lived and well loved. Our condolences, love and hugs to you all - Aunt Kathy, Uncle Craig & cousin James

Your Mom was an amazing lady and I’m so happy that I got to meet her and know her. I did not know her a very long time; we met in 2015 at ICL. Our friendship grew deeper every year since that first chance meeting in a class at Roosevelt. During that time I discovered how much she loved her family, loved her friends, and, of course, loved life … she enjoyed living. She loved entertaining, driving, cooking, reading, talking (lately, especially talking about politics); she played mahjongg, cards; went to movies, plays, concerts at the Botanical Gardens; she enjoyed dining out with friends and having her glass of wine. She was one special lady and I feel privileged to have had her in my life. I know that you will miss her deeply. I will miss her too. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
