Duran, nee Albert, age 62, of Chicago, respected Vice President and Loan Administrator with Wells Fargo for 10 years; beloved wife and best friend for 17 years of Gabe Duran; devoted daughter of the late Henry and the late Rose Albert; cherished sister of the late Randee Monitz; treasured friend of many, especially Betty and Ken Schwartz and their children Jessica (Drew) Morris and Daniel Schwartz; godmother to Jessica and Drew’s daughter Eden and special “great aunt” to their son Julian; dear daughter-in-law of Myrtle and the late Jeff Duran; fond sister-in-law of Joan (Russell) Kelley, Greg (Sue) Duran, and Mike (Ann) Duran. Gail was a member of the Women’s Leadership Committee with the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. The graveside service and shiva is private.
