Gladys Riskind (nee Shenner), age 91, formerly of the Chicago Gold Coast and Winnetka, loving mother of Jonathan (Arlyn) Riskind and Jennifer Riskind; proud grandmother of Noah Riskind; and survived by her cherished sister Peggy (Herman) Krehm of Toronto. Gladys was a career woman ahead of her time, an accomplished journalist as a young woman in Canada for publications such as Maclean's, as well as the Chicago Tribune and Pioneer Press after her marriage, and a public relations professional in Chicago.
