There are no words that I can add to what our daughter's Leah and Debi have written. Marshall, you know that the Shapiro's and the Simon's are one family. There is nothing that can change that.

Marshall, Alice, Jared - you and your children are all in my heart today. I'm so sorry that Margie is gone, but know she is not suffering any longer and I really believe she is back with Dave, Helene, Francine and Michael. Smiling! And running the show I'm sure.
I'm sad we couldn't have joined you at Shalom but so grateful that we could at least be with you today with live streaming to hear all the beautiful words and thoughts about Margie. What a wonderful woman she was! I always considered Margie and Dave to be my aunt and uncle, even when I finally understood you all were not my 'direct' cousins. Your parents have always been an inspiration to me and will forever be imprinted on my heart. I will miss your mom now as I miss Helene and your dad. All too soon.
There are way too many memories to share here, but one that makes me smile right now is that for the last several years (except for this one), I've had the joy and honor to host Passover with almost all of you. Every year I was so happy to have Margie, Dave, Jared, Helene and Flynn join us. To hear today that this was one of her favorite holidays made it even more special. I know my Dad and sister Debi feel the same.
Know we will stay in touch. As soon as the pandemic is at bay we will get together. So, from all of us, sending heartfelt love and hugs! May her memory always be a blessing.
