Monte C. Strusiner, age 79, of Highland Park, IL and Grandview, TX, Monte’s background is in commercial mortgage banking. He and his brother Rick founded in 1968 the Craig/Steven Development Corporation. They have been involved in real estate development projects in Chicagoland for over 50 years. He is the beloved father of Andrew Strusiner and David Strusiner; dear former spouse of Ellen Server; adored grandfather of Haley and Jordyn Strusiner; devoted son of the late Harold and the late Sylvia (nee Paster) Strusiner; cherished brother of Rick (Lynda) Strusiner; beloved long-time companion of Peggy Averbuch; treasured uncle of Scott (Suzanne) Strusiner and Liza (Jon) Mauck and their children. Monte loved his ranch, MCS Farms in Grandview, TX, where he raised prized winning Quarter Horses. The service will be private.
