Renee’ Hirsch, nee Kolodenko, age 71, she was the soulmate, best friend, wife, and partner in crime for 50+ years of Leon Hirsch; loving mother and treasured mother-in-law of Scott (Sarah) Hirsch; adored Nonnie of Harry, where he learned the words “Oy” and “Nonnie needs wine” before he could say much else; devoted daughter of the late Ben and the late Ruth Kolodenko; beloved sister of Carol (Mike) Feldman and Stuie (Lori) Kolodenko; dear sister-in-law of Mark (Barbara) Hirsch and the late Cary Hirsch; cherished aunt of Chuck (Debbie) Feldman, Mindi (Michael) Uccetta, Bobby (Julie) Kolodenko, Rachel Hirsch, and the late Debbie (David) Kliff; treasured great aunt and friend to many. She had a one-of-a kind friendship since the age of 2 years old with Debbie Savitzky. Renee’ will always be remembered for her mischievous little smile, sharp wit, her love for playing games, and boisterous contagious laugh that brightened every room she was in. She was loved by everyone around her and to know her was to love her.

Service Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). The service will be livestreamed on Renee’s webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Harry loved to play games with his Nonnie and since he was 2 years old he has donated his birthday to the nonprofit KABOOM! that brings safe play spaces to kids in need. Renee’ was so proud of the fundraising that Harry did every year on his birthday for KABOOM!
