I will miss Sam. He always had as smile, a hug and a kiss for me too. I enjoyed his passion when discussing Israel. He was on top of all the latest news. I watched the service online and it was lovely. Condolences to Harvey and the rest of the family.

Zaida was incredibly loving and loyal to his family. His kisses, hugs, stories, opinions and jokes are some of the things I'll miss the most about him. His unconditional love for Bubbie was incredible to witness. Miss & love you, Zaida.

Love you always,

My brother Sam was the most wonderful, kindest, nicest, most generous person ever. He couldn't wait to see Bessie, Harry
and myself in February. Also, he was looking forward to seeing our cousins at our cousins reunion. When we spoke, we
would count the months, and then the days, how excited we were. I will miss his beautiful twinkle in his eyes when he smiled,
his sense of humor and his voice, But most of all, his love for me. He was always there for me, month after month. He would
always say to me, "Diana, always remember, I'm there for you, I love you, you are not alone". I am so grateful he and Harvey
stayed with me in February 2018 and 2019 for 17 days. This year he and Harvey stayed with our brother Harry. When I would
come to the house, he would always talk about Sylvia, and show me her pictures that were next to his bed. I picked him, and
Harvey up everyday, and spend the whole day with them. Evenings were spent with family. I am so grateful for the time I spent
with him. His last words to me was on Wednesday afternoon, when he called me. He said, "Diana, I feel great, I'll call you
tomorrow." My wonderful brother Sam, I will love you, and miss you forever.
Your loving baby sister, Diana

I met Sam and Sylvia over 30 years ago when my sister Stacy had only been dating Earl for just a few months. I was on vacation with 3 of my girlfriends and Stacy suggested that I reach out to Sam and Sylvia because they wanted to meet me. I called them and they knew immediately who I was, offered their home for us to stay at and that they couldn't wait to get together. They selected Joe's Stone Crab for dinner for all of us (including my friends. I was completely unaware of how expensive their menu was until we we were seated and Sam and Sylvia said, "Get what you want, we are picking up the check." I was so amazed how warm, genuine, generous, and how interested they were in getting to know me. I truly felt like I was part of their family and was so excited for my sister to have such wonderful in-laws. Sam was a kind and loving father (in-law) and always looked forward to spending time with Stacy, Earl, Jack and Sarah that he never wanted to leave. I feel fortunate that I was able to see Sam and spend time with him this past fall. Sending all my love and hugs to the entire Melamed family.
