Walter was a great friend, boss and leader who could command an audience with his wonderful warm, engaging personality. I'm so grateful to have known him for over 40 years. He always had an interesting story, joke or idea to share. Walter was one of a kind. I extend my condolences to the Nathan family.

Walter was a great friend and a great mentor.
I will always cherish our conversations about his family (which he adored), his heritage, and how he started RTC out of his own home. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone.
I was fortunate to know him and to learn from him.

Walter Nathan was the epitome of elegance, grace, grit and the mind of an explorer. I worked with him for over a decade on the board of overseeers at the Institute of Design. I loved talking to him about the way he and I were going to use design as a weapon to improve the business of the world. Not surprising that Walter spent his extraordinary life in pursuit of that. I was fortunate to meet Walter as a student at the Institute of Design, and lucky to find work at RTC for the next 7 years. He was such a kind gentleman, always delightful to talk with. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the broader RTC family.
