Edythe "Edie" Sumner, age 88, of Arlington Heights, beloved high school sweetheart and wife for 69 years of Marvin; loving mother of Ellyn (Terry) Benovsky and Andrea (Stuart) Rappoport; adored grandmother of Bradley (Rhiannon) Rappoport and Staci (Eric) Hauk; proud great grandmother of Logan, Zachary, Sawyer and Garrett; devoted daughter of the late Sam and Sylvia Horwitz; dear sister of the late Elenore (late Ruby) Kaufman; fond sister-in-law of the late Sherwin (Sandra) Sumner; treasured aunt and friend to many. Service Monday, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
