Dear, Barbara, Glor, the 3 J's and others. While watching the service today, I realized I may have gone back the furthest with Vic other than Glor (Spaulding Avenue). Throughout I had a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. I remember, fondly, 4 years of HS, weekly poker games in my basement (not so fondly, he was a bad winner), bowling leagues, the threesome of Vic, Dave and myself. After various colleges for the 2 of us, I remember basic training (it wasn't that brief), weekly golf games, a wedding, 2 bris's, and my first local duplicate bridge game. I'm still actively playing 60 years later. Vic was my first stock broker..He turned out to be a much better trader for himself than for our short term, ill fated partnership. In the mid 70's we started to go our separate ways, only seeing each other at class reunions. I treasure our last one, our 60th, in 2018. He was on a new med and could only handle 2 bites of food, tho I seem to remember 2 drinks, when he had to go home after an hour. I will treasure the times we had together and miss him terribly.
Love,

Marc Passman

Sweet family, that was a beautiful service and I wish I could have been there with you. My earliest memory of Vic was from when I was a kid. In the old house in Northbrook at the end of a century-de-sac, with skylight windows in the kitchen, we were at a family party. I was really shy and Vic was always sweet to me and pulled me to the side and said, “I have a secret to share with you,” and showed me he was wearing a toupee and it made me laugh. He always made me feel comfortable in those huge family gatherings and always had a smile on and an ease about him, all the way up until the last time I saw him at Country Kitchen last year. I am thinking of you all and love you so much, and can’t wait to give you hugs.
