Morton Irving Silver, age 95, life-long resident of Belvidere; Owner of Louis Silver Scrap Iron & Metal Yard; served honorably in the United States Army during WWII; beloved husband for 57 years of Elaine, nee Katz formerly of Chicago; loving father of Jay (Maida) Silver and Loren Silver; adored Zayde of Noah Benjamin and Zoey Esther Silver; devoted son of the late Louis and the late Dorothy Silver; cherished brother of six, who preceded Morton in death. The Silver Family will condolences at their Belvidere residence on Sunday, July 1st, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Service Wednesday, June 27th, 11:30 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The ARK, www.arkchicago.org.
