I first met Kasey in Cellar 360 in San Francisco. She had hired me as a temp dishwasher. I was going through hard times then and after hearing what I went through she gave a chance and eventually hired me full time which gave m the chance to get back on my feet. She saw what a hard worker I was that she had taught me cooking skills and promoted me as prep cook and gave me knowledge and believed in me so much that I will never forget what impact she had made in my life and I will be forever grateful for being blessed enough to have known her. I’m sorry for your loss and I grieve sadly for my mentor and friend. She played a very big part in my life. She gave me courage, strength and knowledge to turn my life around and to make it better. I can say that I am now a confident happy person because of Kasey and her big kind heart.
