Message: I know that Bruce was well loved and respected. He had great character and a big heart. His presence in the community and amongst his friends was always strong. I know he is proud of his two girls and of Sarah. Thinking of you all during this time.

Message: I was very sorry to hear of Bruce's passing today. We overlapped at Williams College where he was a year ahead. We had mutual friends there and got to know one another enough to stay in touch over the years as we were both involved in the information technology industry. I always remember Bruce's smile and genuine interest in my life and that of others. He was one of the good guys! He was had an innocence about him, perhaps it was my lack thereof, that always struck me in the nicest way. I never heard him judge anyone, and frankly I feel he also wanted to know what it was like to be not so innocent as well. So he was a true scholar in the classroom and in life. Please share my condolences with his family. I grew up in Oak Park just blocks from the temple and it was complete coincidence that I learned of this today. I am glad to have had the opportunity to know Bruce and honor his life today.

Message: I remember Bruce as a warm, friendly guy when we were at Williams, very genuine, with a smile on his face. Message: Mr. Albelda made a lasting impact on my life as one of the nicest men that I have ever met or will ever meet. My father Richard O'Hara counted Mr. Albelda as one of his very good friends and he will be greatly missed.
